Who Created the iPhone Bible?
The iPhone Bible is created by me, Israel Anderson. I am also the creator of God's iPod, the Christian Podcasts site. I am called by God as a missionary not just to the 3rd world, but to the religious. I receive no salary from anyone, and I am not permitted to work in the USA as I am a New Zealand citizen. Instead, like Paul, I am supported by those who feel that what I am doing is important enough to the Kingdom of God that they have chosen to support my financial needs. As someone that is at the forefront of using technology to build the Kingdom, my support needs tend to be higher than other missionaries, yet God always richly provides out of His abundance, and I praise Him for it!
God's iPhone does not cost a lot to host, so I don't need millions of dollars, but I have, and am still, putting an enormous amount of man hours into getting this project finished, and I want to do much more with this site.
Some people are very turned off by others asking for money, and it is something I still struggle with doing. The reality is we live in a world where money and ministry often clash. There are many though who would love to support me, yet they don't because they do not know there is a need. I am simply making that need known. Please do not be compelled to give out of necessity, but out of a spirit of generosity. Please pray asking God how much He would have you give.
